Education Program Support Apply
This position is a great opportunity to work on many aspects of an educational non-profit.
The school grant program at the Harold Grinspoon Charitable Foundation engages K-12 students in curriculum- based learning related to climate change solutions across all subjects in a variety of ways:
Our events feature classroom work as the centerpiece of a community fair, where students exhibit their work and teach the public about options for living in more climate-friendly ways. Visitors pledge measurable actions to reduce their own and their communitys carbon footprint, so students see the relevance of their learning and the impact they can have in their community.
We also provide in-classroom enrichment programs, professional development and teacher support, as well as free books for teachers and all their students.
The ProgramSupport and Administrative Manager works closely with each member of our small team to support all aspects of the program: from event organization to social media, from our web site to classroom engagements, and has the opportunity to learn about and lead environmental education programs.
