Ehs Safety Specialist Apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Training: Develop and implement safety training programs to educate employees on safety standards and protocols, ensuring they are well-prepared to return to work.
- EHS Obligation Reporting: Manage compliance with EHS reporting requirements, documenting incidents and corrective actions taken in response to the equipment damage.
- Remediation Support: Provide oversight during the remediation process, ensuring that all safety standards are followed while repairs are conducted.
- Employee Transition: Assist in the safe transition of employees back to the site, making certain that all safety measures are communicated and implemented effectively.
- Monitoring Compliance: Continuously monitor safety practices and compliance with EHS regulations, taking proactive steps to mitigate any potential risks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with facility management, engineering teams, and external contractors to ensure that safety protocols are integrated into all remediation efforts.
- EHS Safety Background: Proven experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) within a pharmaceutical or manufacturing setting.
- Employee Safety Training Experience: Demonstrated capability in conducting safety training sessions and workshops for employees.
- Understanding of EHS Requirements: Strong knowledge of EHS regulations, compliance standards, and best practices for safety management.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify safety issues and develop effective solutions to mitigate risks.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage and educate employees effectively.
