Cardiac Monitor TechnicianObserves and analyzes cardiac rhythms of monitored patients; reports and responds appropriately to the registered nurse any changes in patient's rhythm.Education: HS diploma or equivalent education/experience. Completion of EKG monitoring course. Completions of monitor technician training. Medical terminology. Cardiac arrythmia recognition. Cardiac drugs and drips.Certification & licensure: ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support.Preferred experience as typically acquired in: Previous telemetry monitoring.Skills and knowledge: Computer system.
