Location: Hartland, WI
Hire Type: Contract to Hire
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Mon - Friday)
Compensation: $20-$23/hr.
Benefits: As a contract employee of Sterling, you are eligible to receive a Full Employee Benefits Package that includes paid time off, paid holidays, 3 medical plans to choose from, dental & vision plans, 401(k), and an Employee Stock Ownership (ESOP) plan.
Must have Skill Set: Panel Wiring, Schematic Interpretation, Mechanical Assembly.

We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Mechanical Assembler to join our specialized production team. This role requires a high degree of technical proficiency in assembling complex panels and machinery that support critical medical imaging technology. The ideal candidate will work under limited supervision to deliver high-quality results, ensuring that every assembly meets the rigorous standards required for the healthcare industry.

Job Duties:
  • Perform advanced electrical and mechanical assembly, specifically focusing on the wiring of control panels and machine assembly.
  • Use technical drawings, blueprints, electrical schematics, and written work instructions to guide the assembly process.
  • Inspect, modify, rework, or disassemble panels and mechanical components as required by engineering specifications.
  • Maintain high production standards through effective organization and daily planning of tasks.
  • Ensure all required production and quality documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time.
  • Position and secure non-electrical components using various hand tools.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certificates or an associate degree are considered a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in electrical assembly.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical prints.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical components and advanced wiring techniques.
  • Proficiency in the use of hand tools for both electrical and mechanical applications.
  • Proven track record of maintaining consistent quality and speed in a manufacturing environment.
