Job Description

Position Summary

Responsible for the design, planning, and execution of electrical engineering projects to upgrade and improve manufacturing equipment, plant systems, and infrastructure at a confidential industrial facility. Supports plant performance goals related to safety, reliability, cost reduction, and productivity. Coordinates site-level and corporate engineering initiatives and assists with capital projects, purchasing, environmental, and safety programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical engineering projects, ensuring compliance with design requirements, budgets, schedules, and performance goals.
  • Develop project scopes, cost estimates, and authorization requests; manage work orders and capital expenditures.
  • Coordinate procurement of equipment and materials; interface with vendors and suppliers.
  • Design and implement electrical and control system upgrades, including PLCs, drives, HMIs, control panels, and process monitoring systems.
  • Support maintenance teams with troubleshooting and resolution of electrical and control system issues
