We are currently seeking candidates for an Electrical Controls Engineer based at our Davenport, IA headquarters. This role primarily focuses on delivering quality, cost-effective power to our operations facilities while working with the RiverStone Engineering Team. Occasional travel to the Hannibal/Quincy area and the greater St. Louis metropolitan area is required (less than 25%). We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including health & dental insurance, paid holidays & vacation, 401k with company match, company vehicle, and more. Responsibilities Create new electrical one-line drawings and panel layouts using AutoCAD and industry-standard electrical symbols. Design control systems from scratch and manage the installation of control systems. Get quotes on equipment and contractor labor. Ability to create PLC programs from scratch. Ability to modify and/or troubleshoot existing PLC programs. Work in the field updating or modifying existing control systems. Develop HMIs from scratch using Rockwell Software, including modifying/upgrading/repairing existing HMIs. Overnight travel, as needed, to support our 35+ operations in Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri. Follow Mine Safety and Health Administration rules and regulations, working in tandem with the company Electrical Engineer. Qualifications Self-motivation with a strong ability to work independently or as part of a team. An attitude of continuous improvement. An ability to utilize an objective approach to problem solving. Excellent communication skills – listening, verbal, written (report writing), and presentation. A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
