Position: Electrical Controls Engineer

Location: Inwood, NY

Status: Full-time permanent position

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and resolve issues on European and American machines, ensuring efficient and effective operation.

Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic (ABB) problems.

Design, implement, and maintain electrical control systems.

Program and troubleshoot PLCs, specifically Siemens S7-TIA.

Maintain and optimize mechanical systems for optimal performance.

Work with pneumatics and hydraulics systems, ensuring reliability and efficiency.

Demonstrate proficiency in ABB robotics systems.

Collaborate with the team to integrate and optimize robotic processes.

Develop and modify PLC programs to enhance system performance.

Utilize SAP for the follow-up of work orders and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Practical experience in troubleshooting European and American machines.

Proficiency in PLC programming, specifically Siemens S7-TIA.

Familiarity with robotics systems, particularly ABB.

Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Experience in following up on work orders using ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
