Job title : Electrical Controls Process Engineer

Job Summary The candidate will work as an Electrical Controls Process Engineer responsible for managing and leading electrical/control processes in manufacturing facilities. They will design and maintain equipment used for powering and controlling industrial systems while providing technical support to various departments. Even Simpler: The job is for an engineer who helps factories by designing machines that control other machines. This person also fixes electrical problems and makes sure everything works safely. Related Job Titles: Instrumentation Engineer, Automation Engineer, Control Systems Engineer

TRAVEL REQUIRED: 75% travel - Home on the weekends. Standard 40-hour workload

Skill Requirements
  • Must-Have Requirements:
    • Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience
    • Expertise in Process Controls within manufacturing environments
    • Proficiency in writing/modifying PLCs
    • Ability to create/maintain Schematics
    • Experience with CAD , AC drives , and DC drives
  • Preferred Requirements:
    • Familiarity with foreign production machinery troubleshooting
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Practices
Skill Education
  • Electrical Engineering: A field focused on the study of electricity and electronics to design systems and devices.
  • Process Controls: Techniques used to manage the operations of industrial processes efficiently.
  • PLCs: Programmable Logic Controllers are industrial computers used for automation of electromechanical processes.
  • Schematics: Diagrams representing the elements of a system using abstract symbols rather than realistic pictures.
  • CAD: Computer-Aided Design software used for creating precise drawings or technical illustrations.
  • AC Drives: Devices that control the speed of an electric motor by adjusting power frequency supplied to the motor.
  • DC Drives: Devices that regulate voltage in direct current motors to manage their speed.
  • Lean Manufacturing Practices: Methods aimed at reducing waste within manufacturing systems while simultaneously ensuring quality.
Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
