Electrical Design EngineerBuckinghamshire | Manufacturing | Competitive Salary + Benefits The RoleThe Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of electrical systems used within the company’s manufactured equipment. This role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical design, controls, and production to deliver reliable and compliant electrical designs. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layoutsDevelop electrical systems for bespoke and standard manufacturing equipmentProduce technical documentation including bills of materials and specificationsEnsure designs comply with relevant electrical standards and regulationsSupport the build, test, and commissioning of equipment when requiredWork collaboratively with internal teams to resolve design and production issuesContribute to continuous improvement of design processes and standards RequirementsDegree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related disciplineExperience in electrical design within a manufacturing or machinery environmentProficiency with electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similarKnowledge of relevant standards and regulationsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work both independently and as part of a team
