As the Electrical Design Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.You will be involved in:Support Avionics and Systems Engineering teams in developing and maintaining the production design record for new concepts and design changesProduce detailed electrical design solutions using SolidWorks ElectricalSelect appropriate electrical components to satisfy schematic and system-level requirementsAct as a key contact for electrical design queries across engineering and productionProvide hands-on support to the build line in resolving emerging electrical issuesHelp manage design changes in line with configuration and change control processesCollaborate with Production and Procurement teams to ensure Design for Manufacture (DFM) considerations are addressed early in the lifecycleYour skillset may include:Previous experience in aviation focused electrical designONC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Aerospace EngineeringExperience in SolidWorks ElectricalExperience working with PDM systemsExperience resolving emergent electrical issues and developing innovative solutionsExperience translating system-level requirements into complete design solutionsIf this all sounds like something you will be interested in then simply apply and we can discuss the opportunity further!
