Our client needs an Electrical Engineer whose responsibilities include analyzing existing electrical designs and making cost‑effective improvements, conducting research, supporting our diagnostics team including training new hires, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to specifications. To be successful as an electrical engineer, this person should demonstrate strong leadership abilities and organizational skills. The electrical engineer will use electrical software to design and develop electrical systems specifications for hydraulic components and systems. Duties & Responsibilities: Develop, review, update, modify electrical designs for our capital equipment products including schematics and bill of materials. Collaborate with clients and other engineers, including mechanical engineers, to ensure projects are completed to specifications. Maintain and improve existing engineering processes. Participate in conferences, events, networking and learning opportunities. Draw up budgets, schedules, company regulations, and related documents. Analyze existing processes and schedule meetings to discuss improvement initiatives. Conduct research and development to create new sales opportunities. Work to ensure a safe, positive work environment. Electrical Engineer Requirements: Material handling equipment experience is a must. Professional Engineer License (PE) is desirable. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities. Practical experience with CAD software. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Excellent motivational skills and multitasking abilities. Discuss assignments with Engineering Manager. Analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility of designs and select the best solution. Work with Electrical Engineers to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish company goals. Communicate with Engineering Manager and Project Engineer on project conflicts and issues. Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications. Work with Purchasing and vendors to obtain needed parts. Review and approve electrical engineering drawings, documentation, detailed instructions, and BOMs to be released to production. Provide and/or review/approve electrical documentation and instructions to be released to customers. Answer customer’s job‑related questions to resolve issues. Educational Required: a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or BSEET.
