Electrical Design EngineerWe are excited to present a direct hire opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a company built on integrity and continuous improvement. This role offers the chance to design cutting-edge products for the motion control, robotics, automation, and sensor industries, while being part of a supportive and innovative team.Reasons to Love This Role:Direct hire opportunity with long-term career potential.Work at a company with strong values rooted in high employee retention, customer loyalty, and steady growthCompetitive pay range based on experience.Exciting, hands-on work environment designing and maintaining cutting-edge technology.Opportunity to work closely with leadership, including the COO and Director of Sales.Location: 100% onsite in Vancouver, WASalary: $150,000 - $190,000 per year (DOE)Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:30am – 5:00pm (four 10-hour shifts)Key Responsibilities:Design electrical products according to customer specifications from concept to completion.Support and maintain existing company products.Provide support to other departments, including debugging, testing, and possible repair of electrical equipment.Use internal systems for documentation and version control, including SharePoint, EPDM, and SVN.Carry out job responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering5+ years experience in hardware and firmware designExperience designing a variety of circuits, including analog interfaces, microcontrollers, motor controllers/drivers, and sensorsMicrochip PIC/dsPIC experience is a plusProficient in schematic capture and PCB layout, preferably using Altium toolsSkilled in writing efficient, well-documented real-time firmware for microcontrollers/DSPs in CFamiliarity with PSPICEKnowledge of FPGAs and HDL a plusSkilled with test equipment: DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, microcontroller debuggersKnowledge of ISO 9001 procedures preferredDemonstrated ability to design for efficiency, testability, and manufacturabilityAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment or independently as neededStrong attention to detail with excellent research, multi-tasking, scheduling, and follow-up skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishAuthorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipPhysical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 25 lbsDexterity for typing and writingAbility to read technical documents and schematicsDiversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement:We are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that welcomes diverse candidates.
