Supervise and coordinate the activities of hourly skilled electrical technicians and salaried automation and controls engineers. **Essential Functions/Key Deliverables*** Develop and maintain a constant safety environment and provide necessary training updates while striving for zero incidents and full compliance with OSHA and Plant standards.* Develop and manage annual operating plans/budgets for the electrical maintenance and automation department.* Execute all electrical preventative maintenance, implement process controls, and define projects to drive plant KPIs and continuous improvement.* Organize and coordinate the maintenance breakdowns of all equipment within assigned responsibility including maintaining a necessary inventory of spare parts.* Hire, coach, review, promote, automation engineers and electrical technicians.* Provide regular training of personnel as needed to maintain new and existing equipment and ensure good GMP Principles are followed.* Comply with Environmental and Food Safety standards as set forth in plant policies/programs within Department responsibilities.**Knowledge/Skills/Experience:*** Associate degree, trade school or significant experience in a related/similar field* Strong electrical and mechanical skills and ability to work through complex problems* Strong communication and leadership skills – successful supervision in a manufacturing environment* Experience with Allen Bradley Programming, Robotics, and advanced automation* Experience with plant network and communication systems.* Experience managing high voltage and low voltage electrical distribution systems* Must have basic skills with Microsoft Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.**Physical Demands**N (Not Applicable) Activity is not applicable to this position.
