Electrical Engineer Apply
BCT is in search of an Electrical Engineer for a direct-hire opportunity located in Addison, TX. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the electrical & FPGA design and development of prototype and production units covering an entire cycle from concept/detailed design to manufacturing release of products and systems.
SALARY OFFERED: Up to $115K plus bonus depending on the candidates' experience, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take an electrical lead on specific projects following department processes and, standards and ensure the design meets customer and functional requirements.
- Carry out detailed electrical design work including analog, digital, & FPGA design, schematic capture, PCB layout, testing & verification, & manufacturing release.

- Conceive, research, and implement engineering design changes yielding improvements in manufacturability and robustness in coordination with sustaining engineering team.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation including HALT summaries, test procedures, qualification test reports, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- 3-7 years of electrical and FPGA design experience
- Experience with microprocessor and/or DSP-based designs and network/Ethernet design
- Experience with hardware diagnostic tools including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.
- Ability to understand and apply functional & technical specifications, datasheets, hardware manuals, etc. to electrical designs
- Ability to coordinate with the other discipline Engineers (ME & SE) within the department to produce multidisciplinary design solutions
- Schematic Capture & PCB Layout: Experience with OrCAD Capture/Allegro PCB Designer or similar toolset (will be required to use OrCAD/Allegro)
- FPGA/ASIC design experience (will be required to use Xilinx FPGAs & toolset)
