Job Title: Electrical Power EngineerLocation: Lake Marina Data CenterJob Type: Full timePosition Overview:We are seeking a skilled Electrical Power Engineer with expertise in utility and transmission distribution systems. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the design, analysis, and optimization of electrical power systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.Key Responsibilities:* Design and develop electrical power distribution systems, including substations, transmission lines, and related equipment.* Conduct feasibility studies, load flow analysis, and system reliability assessments to inform project planning and implementation.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of electrical systems with other engineering disciplines.* Perform inspections and evaluations of existing power systems to identify areas for improvement and implement upgrades or repairs.* Prepare technical specifications, reports, and documentation for projects, ensuring adherence to relevant codes and standards.* Engage with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with utility regulations and environmental standards.* Provide technical support during the construction phase of projects and assist in resolving any engineering issues that arise.* Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to electrical power engineering and utility operations.Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.* Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.* Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in electrical power engineering with a focus on utility and transmission distribution systems.* Proficient in power system analysis software and tools (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E, or equivalent).* Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Salary Range $150k plus 12% bonuses
