Their primary responsibility will be to design and support portable communication accessory products from concept through production. Keep reading for more details!What’s in it for you:· Competitive salary ranging from $85,000-$100,000/yr. depending on experience· Direct Hire position - you'll be hired on directly with our client!· Amazing benefit package once hired in permanently· Medical, Dental and Vision· 401K· Paid vacationWhat your day will look like:Design and prototype analog and digital circuits for portable communication devicesSelect and specify electronic components to meet performance, reliability, and cost objectivesDevelop schematics and bills of materials (BOMs), and provide technical direction for PCB layoutAnalyze and validate product performance to ensure compliance with customer and internal specificationsSupport production activities and resolve manufacturing and field-related issuesCollaborate cross-functionally with Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Sales teamsMaintain accurate, complete, and well-organized engineering documentationContribute to the development of production test procedures and technical requirementsWhat we are looking for:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) requiredMinimum of 2+ of experience across the full product development lifecycleStrong expertise in analog and audio circuit design, including op-amps, filters, codecs, and power suppliesSolid foundation in digital and microprocessor-based circuit designProficient in schematic capture and electronic design automation (EDA) toolsWorking knowledge of EMC/ESD compliance; familiarity with Intrinsically Safe standards (UL, ATEX, FM) preferredEmbedded systems programming experience is a plusAt Apex, we actively encourage applications from underrepresented groups.
