Responsibilities: - Performing engineering assessments and investigations, electrical engineering for building construction utilizing both AutoCAD and Revit - Preparing the design of: o Normal, emergency and critical power systems o Lighting and lighting control systems o Fire alarm, mass notification and life safety systems o AV, telecom and broadband systems - Preparing electrical specifications and cost estimates - Reviewing and responding to RFI's, attend construction progress meetings, and provide punch list and closeout documents Position Requirements: - Bachelor of Architectural Engineering, or Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering - Work experience within the Architecture/Facilities industry (5+ years) - Must be computer oriented and familiar with Electrical / Lighting application software, including: SKM, AGi32 and others - Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is required - PE, LEED and RCDD certification is a plus - Candidate should possess good communication skills, including technical writing - The engineer will be developing unique and innovative design solutions.
