Job Title: Electrical Engineer Location: Glenshaw, PA Type: Direct Hire Compensation: 100-120K Contractor Work Model: On site Objective Produce engineering and design deliverables for electrical power distribution systems (low voltage through medium voltage) based on project requirements, including calculations, equipment selection, and installation documentation. Responsibilities Define electrical system scope and technical criteria for assigned projects. Develop engineering calculations to meet applicable project requirements (e.g., load calculations and related analyses). Perform equipment sizing/selection and create equipment and installation specifications. Prepare contractor-ready electrical work packages. Review and comment on drawings and submittals from vendors, other disciplines, and project stakeholders. Provide technical review of design output prepared by designers/drafters. Complete site/field investigations to collect information needed to support design and confirm project scope. Maintain organized engineering files and project records. Requirements Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year institution. Minimum 5 years of electrical design engineering experience. Experience designing low- and medium-voltage distribution systems. Experience performing load and short-circuit studies. Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards. Ability to perform field investigations to define and support project scope. Preferences Professional Engineer (PE) license. High-voltage system experience. Proficiency with SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower. AutoCAD experience. Lighting system design experience.
