Key Responsibilities:
- Develop EMC test plans and compliance strategies in collaboration with client's internal clients and design teams.
- Perform EMC testing, troubleshooting, and mitigation for hardware and electronic systems.
- Support design validation through engineering testing and assessment.
- Assist with laboratory accreditation processes and maintain quality system documentation.
- Write and maintain internal test procedures in accordance with regulatory and technical standards.
- Prepare and deliver formal EMC test reports for internal stakeholders and compliance records.
- Maintain the EMC lab including equipment, documentation, and testing workflows.
- Use scientific research techniques to analyze and validate theoretical concepts and designs.
- Identify technical issues and work under moderate supervision to resolve them effectively.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or a related science/engineering field from an accredited university.
- Experience in hardware/electronics testing and design validation.
- Strong understanding of EMC principles, standards, and test methodologies.
- Familiarity with lab equipment and safe, organized lab practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in developing EMC compliance strategies for new electronic designs.
- Prior involvement in EMC troubleshooting and mitigation.
- Experience working in accredited testing laboratories.
- Knowledge of industry compliance standards (FCC, CE, CISPR, MIL-STD, etc.).
Additional Information:
- Location: Saint PAul, MN
- Pay Range: $30- $32 per hour
- Assignment Duration: 6 months contract
