Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer II to support a project focused on evaluating and identifying electronic components that do not comply with RoHS regulations. The engineer will assess existing exemptions, recommend alternative components, and ensure seamless integration into existing designs without major modifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess electronic components for regulatory compliance with RoHS standards.
  • Research and recommend alternative components to replace non-compliant ones.
  • Ensure proposed components fit existing designs without significant modifications.
  • Analyze data sheets, conduct comparison studies, and justify component selection.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with IEC 60601-1 and ISO 13485 standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics and communication engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Class 2 and Class 3 medical products, ensuring compliance with industry
  • Extensive experience in component engineering, including identifying and recommending alternative semiconductor chips and active components.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data sheets, conducting comparison studies, and making recommendations for component selection.
  • Medical device industry experience is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Communications.
