Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior PCB Design Engineer with a strong background in the layout, construction, and evaluation of prototype Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), fixtures, and tools. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to develop new design features, troubleshoot issues, and contribute valuable engineering insights. This role requires a thorough understanding of FDA regulations, medical device manufacturing processes, and the ability to work in a matrixed, fast-paced environment. Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, layout, and construct a variety of prototype tools, fixtures, and PCBs for development purposes.
  • Conduct feasibility tests, troubleshooting, and fault isolation on breadboards and hybrids.
  • Perform measurements in accordance with design verification plans and document results.
  • Prepare engineering test reports and ensure tools are properly documented with schematics and layouts.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, company policies, and operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with teams across multiple levels of the organization, ensuring timely project delivery.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in PCB layout, construction, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in FDA regulatory compliance and company policies related to medical devices.
  • Advanced skills in spreadsheet, word processing, and database management applications.
  • Six Sigma knowledge and experience desired.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%, including internationally.
