- You will design and analyze electrical systems including mixed-signal, analog, and digital circuits. This includes schematic development, component selection, and design trade studies.
- You will perform worst-case, stress, and failure mode analyses and verify designs using tools such as PSpice and ORCAD.
- You will support power electronics and motor modeling to ensure performance and reliability targets are met.
- You will oversee prototype builds, contribute to verification and validation test plans, and lead troubleshooting efforts.
- You will ensure designs meet functional, environmental, performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost objectives.
- You will work cross-functionally with mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and program teams to transition new products into production.
- You will engage directly with customers and suppliers to clarify requirements and provide technical support.
- You will manage schedules and technical priorities to ensure projects stay on track.
- You will prepare technical documentation, design reports, and customer-facing materials.
- Occasional domestic or international travel (up to 10%).
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in a high-technology or manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in circuit design and analysis.
- U.S. work authorization and ability to support export-controlled programs.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Nice to have:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with electromechanical systems and motor-driven assemblies.
- Knowledge of environmental testing for aerospace or defense programs.
- Familiarity with DOORS or similar requirements management tools.
- Experience with aerospace or MIL specifications.
- Experience designing aerospace-grade electronic circuit cards.
