• This position will be responsible for engineering related activities at a power generating plant. This position is responsible for providing plant technical support and developing long-term plans and budgets to maintain and improve equipment performance. Power Generation Engineers manage capital and O&M projects, follow prescribed procedures and conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations for structures, systems and components. This position is accountable for providing technical direction and troubleshooting for plant electrical and mechanical systems. The incumbent will be responsible for providing ongoing inspection and evaluation of equipment and for determining the appropriate direction on design and performance improvements, upgrades, and other modifications. This individual will be a troubleshooting resource for operations and maintenance.

• Strong organizational, administrative, time management, project management, facilitation and analytical skills are required

• Knowledge and experience with personal computers and the ability to learn numerous software applications quickly
