Job Description
The Electrical Engineer II provides electrical engineering expertise to drive product designs across all phases of the product life cycle. This role serves as a core contributor to product design, verification, validation, productization, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop products including RF architecture, PCBAs, interconnects, risk assessments, and development documentation in compliance with Quality Management System requirements.
- Build and test prototypes, perform circuit layout, and conduct lab testing using tools such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
- Establish, maintain, and communicate development timelines to support project schedules.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure designs meet manufacturability, serviceability, and customer requirements.
- Lead problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives for both new product development and existing products.
- Work with suppliers to understand capabilities, processes, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Prepare and deliver test reports, verification data, and technical documentation.
- Participate in hands-on lab work and occasional customer travel
- Mentor and support junior engineers as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3–6 years of experience developing new product designs in a regulated or highly technical industry.
- Experience with lab equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and documentation in regulated environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with MS Office and engineering tools such as CAD, ERP, and eQMS systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical device, aerospace, or similarly regulated industries.
