What You'll Do- Provide leadership and guidance to engineers, designers, and drafters
- Oversee project schedules, client communication, and overall workload management
- Participate in client discussions and document meeting outcomes
- Visit project sites to review existing conditions and track construction progress
- Take ownership of electrical engineering projects from initial concept through final construction
- Produce electrical system designs using Autodesk, Revit, and AutoCAD
- Develop power, lighting, photovoltaic, and building/site electrical systems
- Perform key engineering calculations such as arc-flash analysis, voltage drop, and fault current
- Support additional responsibilities as needed
- Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Design Master
- Experience using SKM for load flow studies, short-circuit analysis, and arc-flash calculations
- Comfortable reviewing and marking up documents in Bluebeam Revu
- Familiarity with energy compliance tools such as EnergyPro, ComCheck, or similar platforms
- Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards (CBC, CEC, CFC, CGC, IES, NFPA, ADA)
- Understanding of common utility requirements (SDG&E, SCE, PG&E, etc.)
- Capable of producing technical documents such as specifications and Basis of Design reports
- Experience with construction administration tasks, including submittal reviews and RFIs
- Bachelors degree in engineering
- PE license is a plus
- At leas 10 years of experience in the MEP field
- Hybrid Schedule: 2 days a week in office
- Flexible start times between 7am - 9am
- Collaborative, fast-moving environment with cross-disciplinary interaction
- Occasional travel throughout California
