Electrical Instrumentation Technician Apply
Responsibilities And Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems up to 480V.
- Diagnose electrical faults using multimeters, ohm meters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on motors, drives, and MCCs.
- Troubleshoot and repair VFDs and motor control circuits.
- Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation.
- Perform loop checks, instrument calibrations, and verification of control system functionality.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an I&E technician, controls technician, automation technician, or similar role.
- Experience working with industrial PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and instrumentation.
- Proficiency with multimeters and diagnostic tools.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols preferred.
- Experience with robotics preferred.
- Electrical and instrumentation systems troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, loop drawings, technical manuals, and ladder logic.
- Ability to assemble, troubleshoot, and repair complex automated machines.
- Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, sensors, transmitters, and control loops.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including electromechanical assemblies.
