Location : Omaha, NE | Other locations include Cheyenne, WY; Phoenix, AZ; Atlanta, GA Duration : 12-18 months (contract-to-hire) Overview We are seeking an Electrical Project Manager to support field execution activities on a mission critical construction project. This role is focused on on-site delivery of electrical systems, leading installation, coordination, and commissioning of critical infrastructure. This is an execution-driven position, best suited for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and prefer hands‑on delivery of complex systems over design-focused work. Responsibilities Lead electrical scope execution from preconstruction through commissioning Develop and manage M/E estimates, system analysis, and value engineering strategies Oversee power distribution, critical systems, and infrastructure coordination Drive project scheduling, sequencing, and constructability reviews Manage subcontractors, vendors, and equipment procurement Lead commissioning efforts, including system testing and validation Conduct quality inspections to ensure performance and compliance Partner with clients and support project pursuits and business development Mentor junior engineers and support team development Preferred Background Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural Engineering OR Project Management w/ Electrical focussed background OR background in Navy/Military/Aviation 5+ years of experience in construction with a strong electrical focus Mission critical background Specialist EPC experience Medium Voltage experience Strong field presence with a focus on execution, installation, and commissioning support This is your opportunity to help build the infrastructure powering the digital world.
