Position: Service Technician

Location: Erie PA

Position: ONSITE

Contract: 6-month contract (possible temp to hire after 6 months)

MUST be US Citizen or GC/ Needs to be our W2 Candidate

JOB OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Service Manager, The Service Technician is responsible for in-house and field site

service

calls to perform general maintenance and trouble shoot PSB equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES and DUTIES:

1. Repair, service, trouble shoot PSB processing equipment out in the field

2. Man the service desk as a back up to the Service Manager

3. Manage the dispatch process of service requests when the Service Manager is not available

4. Understanding of PSB

5. Interface with appropriate technical personnel for customer problems that cannot be

resolved effectively

6. Provide accurate reports and metrics to company management on the status and

budget of on going projects and agreements

7. Assist the service desk team in design and development tasks when the Service Manger is not

available

8. Design and maintain process documentation for the service calls

9. Utilize the remote monitoring and management system to ensure consistency and

accurate reporting of customer devices, and problem solving

10. Must conform to Handbook rules

11. Perform other duties required by top management

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. General knowledge of PSB processing equipment

2. General knowledge of hand tools and electronic monitoring equipment to repair PSB processing

equipment

3. Skilled in communication with customers, both internal and external

4. Knowledge of Microsoft applications

5. Able to follow directions

6. Able to work with minimal oversight

7. Ability to travel out of town overnight

8. Physical dexterity to work at customer site locations

9. Physically able to lift (60) lbs

10. Demonstrate the ability to interface with both non-technical and technical personnel

11. Reports all discrepancies to top management immediately

12. Demonstrating work behaviors consistent with the company values and work within prescribed

boundaries, including company policies, standards, procedures and any other requirements

13. Able to compile correct paper work necessary for accounting functions

14. High School Diploma or equivalent. Two years of experience in industry required
