Job Title: Electrical System & Wiring Harness Design Engineer

Location: Rockton, Illinois

Job Description:

• Bs degree in Electrical/ Electronics with 3+ years experience
• Work in conceptual development and product specifications, process control requirements, component selection, control architecture
• Design the system Power Distribution, control architecture and system field cabling/interconnect including Process and instrumentation
• Design Power Distribution System using CAD system and development of harness design manage and technicians to implement electrical works
• Define system interconnect/schematic and Key control/automation components
• Coordinate with peers in other engineering groups to ensure that the design criteria are synchronized within all disciplines
• Work closely with project managers and electrical team members to ensure all expectations and specifications into the design
• Organize and manage offsite engineers' deliverable to ensure meet regulatory, Client Standards and equipment specification
• Enforce application of standards, Manage suppliers during specification, design review, design approval
• Handle the electrical system control and wiring harness development solve electrical design, issue and troubleshoot Power Distribution and wiring harness
• Design electrical control schematic including Cable ASM
• Interface with mechanical team/vendors to support Actuator /motors selection
