Your opportunityAs an Electrical Systems Engineer (Marine & Offshore), you will focus on the design and engineering of complex electrical systems used in maritime and offshore projects. You will translate functional requirements into clear, structured, and practical technical solutions that can be efficiently implemented and commissioned.You will play a key role in the early and middle phases of projects, ensuring that all systems are technically sound, well-documented, and ready for execution. Working closely with project managers and commissioning engineers, you will help bridge the gap between engineering and real-world application.What you will doSystem design: Develop detailed electrical system designs based on functional specifications and client requirements.Engineering ownership: Ensure that all technical documentation, drawings, and specifications are complete, accurate, and ready for execution.Drawing & tools: Create and manage electrical schematics using AutoCAD and EPLAN, maintaining high engineering standards.Technical preparation: Translate project requirements into structured engineering packages that can be executed efficiently on-site.Calculations & budgeting: Support technical calculations and contribute to project budgeting and planning.Project collaboration: Work closely with project managers and commissioning engineers to ensure smooth handovers from design to execution.Aftercare & optimization: Support post-delivery improvements and updates, using feedback from commissioning and operations.Process improvement: Apply structured and analytical thinking to improve engineering workflows and project outcomes.Where you will workThis role sits at the core of the engineering process.
