Job Description Position Purpose: Provide instrument, controls, and electrical systems engineering support required to maintain all aspects of site instrumentation, controls, and electrical systems. Provide similar function in support of construction projects. Primary Duties /Responsibilities: Lead electrical and instrumentation projects and/or maintenance work to ensure compliance with the national electrical code and site permits Participate in the development of project design concepts and criteria Provide and modify instrument and electrical drawings as needed Write and/or modify programs used by site programmable logic controllers, programmable drives, human machine interfaces, and distributive control systems Prepare electrical and instrumentation estimates for projects Act as a project manager or proposal manager on small, electrical and instrumentation projects Monitor project progress for technical accuracy and adherence to schedule and budget Represent respective projects at meetings and conferences Provide technical support for the facility’s instrument and electrical maintenance department Qualifications Education / Experience / Background: 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar position Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Working knowledge of various PLC and computer software packages Fundamental understanding of the process safety management (PSM) standard is a plus Additional Information Benefits: Veolia’s comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off policies, as well as health, dental, vision, life insurance, savings accounts, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteering and more.
