Electrician - Solar PV Systems (Maldives Opportunity)

Location: Maldives (Relocation from India Required)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician with expertise in PV systems and battery storage to join our team in the beautiful Maldives. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified electrician to contribute to sustainable energy solutions in a unique and stunning island environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, PV installation, battery storage, and inverters. This role requires relocation from India to the Maldives.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair photovoltaic (PV) systems, including solar panels, inverters, and battery storage solutions.

• Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and cable management for PV and battery systems.

• Configure and troubleshoot various types of inverters.

• Conduct thorough testing and inspections of electrical systems to ensure safety and functionality.

• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults and malfunctions in PV and battery systems.

• Ensure all installations comply with relevant electrical standards and regulations, including those specific to the Maldives.

• Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.

• Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget.

• Provide excellent customer service and technical support.

• Adapt to the unique working environment and lifestyle in the Maldives.

Qualifications:

• Completed training as a qualified Electrician or a comparable qualification (e.g., ITI, Diploma).

• Minimum 3-8 years of proven experience in the installation and maintenance of PV systems and battery storage solutions.

• Strong understanding of inverter technology and associated electrical systems.

• Thorough knowledge of relevant electrical standards and regulations.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willingness to relocate to the Maldives for an extended period.

• Valid Indian Passport.
