Job DescriptionJob DescriptionTITLE: Electrician TrainerDEPARTMENT: Meskwaki Nation Apprenticeship ProgramCLASSIFICATION: Non-ExemptDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Follow established rules and regulations; maintain a safe, clean working environment.Daily supervision & mentorship of Meskwaki Apprenticeship Program participants in the residential/commercial/industrial electrical trade.Organize, file and maintain daily recordsAssist in the coordination of service call & mechanical construction projectsAssist in the planning & coordination of on the job and learning lab activitiesAssist in the assessment/evaluation of Meskwaki Apprenticeship Program participantsAssist in the development & execution of on the job learning in accordance to the Meskwaki Apprenticeship Program curriculumComplete commercial/residential electrical projects in a timely manner as assignedAssist in the creation of project plans; materials, quotes, budgets, timelinesEffectively integrate technology and sustainable building practices into the apprenticeship learning environmentInsure adherence to US Department of Labor Apprenticeship StandardsParticipate in After Hours On-Call schedule as assignedPerform other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS:Minimum of 5 years/10,000 hours on the job experience in Electrical.A minimum of a Journeyperson's license in electricity.Masters license in electricity preferred.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailMinimum 3 years' experience of jobsite management.Demonstrated knowledge and experience in teambuilding and teamworkStrong organizational and customer relations skillsAbility to provide supervision and mentorship for apprenticeship participants.Hold a current or be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.Basic to intermediate knowledge and proficiency with office and contractor computer programs.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurableMust be able to pass a background checkSUPERVISION:Direct supervision by the Apprentice Electrician InstructorSALARY LEVEL:Depending on qualificationsJob Posted by ApplicantPro
