We are currently seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join a global leader in commercial vehicle systems for an opportunity to work with a team dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation. Elkridge, Maryland facility is seeking experienced Electro-Mechanical Assemblers to be a part of the turnkey electronics manufacturing solutions. Assembling conveyors, control panels, and large mechanical systems are just a few of the electro-mechanical capabilities we offer.

In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of conveyors and performing manufacturing operations on assemblies or subassemblies and/or electro-mechanical assemblies used in devices of moderate to difficult complexity.

To be considered for this position the ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude:
- at least 2 years' experience in circuit board assembly and/or mechanica experience in the assembly of electro-mechanical devices
- at least 2 years' experience with soldering circuit boards and other electrical components
Immediate consideration will be given to candidates that have over 3 years of experience in both electro-mechanical assembly and soldering.

Responsibilities:
Mechanically assemble conveyors according to engineering specifications and manufacturing standards.
Provide feedback to Manufacturing and Engineering regarding the adequacy of selected components and hardware for the assembly process, in an effort to improve manufacturability and overall product quality.
Perform manufacturing operations on assemblies or subassemblies, including electro-mechanical devices of moderate to difficult complexity.
Work under limited supervision, using drawings, visual aids, and verbal and written instructions to manufacture subassemblies, final assemblies, and/or electro-mechanical assemblies.
Troubleshoot electro-mechanical production equipment to identify and resolve issues.
Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Materials teams to ensure efficient and effective production processes.


Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly and soldering (soldering circuit boards and other electrical components and in circuit board assembly and/or mechanical assembly).
Ability to perform in a fast paced environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Familiarity with hand and power tools and other assembly equipment.
Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
