JOB TITLE: Electro-Mechanical Systems Technician (Military Vehicles) - DEFENSE

PAY RATE: $35.10/hour

Summary:

• Assemble, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment, components, and systems in accordance with schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal work instructions

• Operate test equipment, perform functional and performance testing, and document results per required procedures

• Perform precise calibration and alignment checks; complete modifications, part replacements, and preparation of required compounds and solutions

• Provide hands-on mechanical support for HIMARS, M270, and other military vehicles, including preventative maintenance, fault isolation, and repair of diesel and gasoline powertrain systems

Requirements:

• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance (not required to start)

• High School Diploma or GED

• Familiarity with gasoline and diesel engines, with demonstrated troubleshooting ability on vehicle powertrain systems

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and maintenance manuals

• High School Diploma or GED

• Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance (not required to start)

• Ability to wear required safety footwear

• Willingness to obtain forklift physical and license during assignment

• Ability to operate a forklift after several months on assignment

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
