We are hiring immediately for a full-time Electronic Assembler. This weekend shift position runs from 5 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday through Sunday. Your Role Performs various production assembly operations on components and subassemblies, and other complex duties as assigned. Uses visual aids, drawings, and verbal and written instruction to assemble, modify, re‑work or re‑assemble units. Receives detailed instruction on new assignments. Certified to IPC-J-STD. Certified to Acceptability of Electronic assemblies' Good mechanical aptitude. IPC-D-610 which defines criteria for acceptance standards. Identify component values. Hand load PCB assembly following schematics and visual aid. Solder various electronic component sizes following industry standards set by IPC-J-STD, including fine‑pitch components. Read, understand and follow written instructions. Read/interpret customer, engineer drawings or visual aids and incorporate call outs onto assembly. Solder under a microscope. Identify and repair soldering anomalies. Solder with lead and lead‑free solder. If required, attend off‑site training classes to maintain certification requirements (i.e., JSTD). Qualifications Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Will provide on‑the‑job training (OJT). Working knowledge of ESD prevention and product handling. Highly flexible individual with good interpersonal and communication skills. Self‑starter, able to plan, execute, and follow to completion assigned tasks. The hiring range for this position is $20–25 per hour with an additional $5 per hour shift differential. This position is eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package. The hourly salary range for this position in local currency is $20–37. US citizenship is required due to U.S. Government contractual requirements and export control regulations. Candidates must either be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by applicable law. PacSci EMC is an equal‑opportunity employer.
