Assist in electrical upgrades and electrical engineering projects to ensure machine reliability and uptime.DutiesTask 1: Electronic Diagnostics and RepairFix broken electronics on worktable. (Table set at 39" high and equipped with stools.)Aid determines the difference between process problems and maintenance corrective actions.Detect electronic malfunctions and repair malfunctions.Task 2: Paperwork/Computer EntryReview paperwork for jobs to be completed.Enter parts collected and fixed into computer system.Enter daily reports to supervision and managementExperience with standard Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook are required.Task 3: DutiesLead TroubleshooterAssist/Direct lead mechanic/multi maintenance in what work needs to be done to correct issues or complete a work assignment.Knowledge of PID control.Knowledge of class 1 Div 1 and class 1 Div 2.Be able to read / write electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic.Read and comprehend electrical and instrumentation drawings.Competence with Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers (SLC, PLC, and ControlLogix families), Siemens STEP 7, as well as Human/Machine Interfaces (HMIs) such as AB PanelView, FactoryTalk View.Troubleshoot PLC programs and be able to make programming changes when required.Understanding of industrial power circuits, installation practices, and general OSHA Safety practices.Ability to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate instrumentation such as temperature sensors, pressure sensors, LEL, pressure switches, temperature switches, weighing systems, valve actuators and positioners.Ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot motor control systems including VFDs, servos, and robotic systems.Understanding of networking protocols and hardware (switches, routers, firewalls).Abide by GMPs as related to working in a food production facility.Experience with standard Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook are required.Capable working safely around voltages up to 480VAC.
