Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
\nAll Write in-process test procedures for circuit boards.
\nTest fixture design a plus.
\nTroubleshoot down to the component level.
\nWork closely with Engineering to provide support for new systems development.
\nLoad software for system testing.
\nStrong ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams or wire lists prior to system testing.
\nReport unusual and/or recurring faults and failures.
\nReturn defective components to Quality Assurance
\nTravel to customers to conduct inspections, installations, and repairs.
\nWill be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
\n\n\nRequired Skills:
\n3+ years of experience in the electrical/electronic testing field
\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required
\nAbility to obtain a US Government security clearance. Security clearances are granted to U.S. citizens.
\n\n\nDesired Skills:
\n2+ years of experience testing high voltage power supplies
\nAssociates or Bachelor’s degree desirable.
\nEstablished security clearance highly desirable.
\nPower conversion/power supply experience desirable.
\nWorking knowledge of digital electronics required.
\nA thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and test equipment including the use of digital oscilloscope.
\nMust be able to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
\nMust be safety conscious.
\nExperience with Analog & Digital power circuits.
\nStrong breadboarding and prototyping skills.
\nSelf-starter with excellent communication skills.
\nStrong computer skills.
\nSome travel required to support Fielded Equipment, Domestic and International.
\n\nPhysical Requirements:
\nStanding for long periods of time while performing tests on large power equipment.
\nBending and kneeling to wire-up power equipment.
\nCarry tools approximately 35 LBS for onsite travel to shipyards and test facilities, if required.
\n\nCompensation Information
\nBase Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 USD (Annually)
\nPlease note, this is the expected compensation however, ESCO Maritime Solutions considers many factors in determining compensation prior to office, such as: responsibilities and scope of role, candidate's work experience and education related to position, applicable certifications or trainings, business and market conditions.
