We have a current opportunity for an Electronics/PCB Test Engineer on a temporary basis. The position will be based in Santa Barbara. For further information about this position please apply. Job Title: Electronics/PCB Test Engineer - Senior Level Location: 100% Onsite - Santa Barbara, CA Duration: 6-12 month Position Overview This position requires strong verification skills and extensive hands‑on PCB troubleshooting experience. Key Responsibilities Lead verification and validation (V&V) tests on electronic and embedded systems. Lead in the design, development, and manufacturing of test fixtures, gaging products, and tools . Lead R&D testing activities , including exploratory and formal tests. Troubleshoot and debug circuits and systems; interpret engineering drawings and PCB schematics. Operate/maintain test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, and multimeters. Configure and maintain test setups for video interfaces (SDI, HDMI, DisplayPort), power supplies, USB interfaces, and embedded systems (microcontrollers, FPGA). Document test results, create reports, and maintain accurate records in compliance with company standards. Evaluate engineering, production, and field failures to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions. Share knowledge of electronic systems manufacturing and test processes to improve team efficiency. Previous experience with PCB troubleshooting is required Preferred Skills & Experience Ability to read schematics , interpret Gerber files, and work with SolidWorks drawings.
