Duties

  • You will perform routine and repetitive disassembly, repair, modification, assembly, testing, installation and maintenance on equipment of limited complexity such as subassemblies, printed circuit cards, and chassis to complete electronics systems.
  • You will operate automatic and standalone test equipment which is used to test/troubleshoot WRA's (Weapon Repairable Assembly and/or SRA's (Service Repairable Assembly's).
  • You will use standard hand tools and a variety of test equipment such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, signal/pulse generators, oscilloscopes, frequency counters, and power supplies.
  • You will assist other workers in the fabrication, overhaul, modification, installation, repair, and maintenance of systems, subsystems, and components as well as performing tasks such as removing and replacing defective parts and assemblies.

    Incumbent is required to abide by Fall Protection policy and wear appropriate restraint systems when working 4 feet above ground surface.
  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
  • Incumbent will be required to obtain CPR certification for this position.

, to effectively execute repairs, and replace defective components; and 5) Modifying systems by adding, altering, or removing components in order to standardize or alter the purpose of the equipment or to incorporate new features developed since the equipment was manufactured.
