Job Description
Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time, itinerant Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) position is available to provide essential support across elementary, middle, and high schools in Fernandina Beach, FL. This role focuses on enhancing educational outcomes by collaborating with K-12 self-contained programs within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students in grades K-12.
- Offer expert suggestions and strategies to improve student behavior and engagement.
- Conduct observations and assist with data collection to monitor student progress.
- Model effective behavioral strategies and interventions for instructional teams.
- Develop Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and support behavior intervention planning.
- Provide ongoing consultation without delivering direct, one-on-one services to students.
Qualifications:
- Active BCBA licensure is required.
- Experience working within elementary, middle, and high school educational settings.
- Strong skills in behavioral analysis, data collection, and developing interventions.
- Ability to work independently and manage an itinerant schedule covering multiple schools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively support educational staff.
