About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you’ll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Chino, CA

Details:

• In-Person Tutoring in Chino, CA
• Schedule: 10 hours, 2 days a week for 1.25 hour sessions
• Pay range is between $25 and $35

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with elementary students, particularly those with Autism or speech/language delays.
• Strong background in early literacy instruction, phonics, and phonemic awareness.
• Familiarity with Special Education principles and individualized learning approaches.
• Patient, engaging, and skilled at maintaining focus through creative, hands-on methods.
• Degree or coursework in Education, Special Education, or a related field preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted instruction in foundational literacy skills, including phonemic awareness, phonics, reading fluency, and comprehension.
• Incorporate movement, visuals, and interactive activities to sustain attention and engagement.
• Reinforce early math concepts as needed to support overall academic growth.
• Utilize positive reinforcement and structured routines to promote motivation and consistency.
• Adapt instruction to align with the student’s IEP goals and learning style.
• Track progress and adjust strategies based on the student’s responsiveness and performance.
