Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with both general and Judaic studies curricula.
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment where students feel valued and motivated to learn.
- Evaluate and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to guide their academic growth.
- Use a variety of instructional methods, including group activities, hands-on learning, and technology integration.
- Create and maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
- Manage classroom behavior using established policies and promote a respectful, collaborative atmosphere.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities as required.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to contribute to school-wide initiatives and improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Teaching certification or licensure in elementary education.
- Proven experience teaching elementary-aged children, preferably in a religious or faith-based school setting.
- Strong understanding of both general education and Judaic studies curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and faculty.
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
- Knowledge of classroom technology tools and educational software.
