Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with both general and Judaic studies curricula.
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment where students feel valued and motivated to learn.
• Evaluate and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to guide their academic growth.
• Use a variety of instructional methods, including group activities, hands-on learning, and technology integration.
• Create and maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
• Manage classroom behavior using established policies and promote a respectful, collaborative atmosphere.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities as required.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to contribute to school-wide initiatives and improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Teaching certification or licensure in elementary education.
• Proven experience teaching elementary-aged children, preferably in a religious or faith-based school setting.
• Strong understanding of both general education and Judaic studies curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and faculty.
• Ability to manage classroom dynamics and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and development.
• Knowledge of classroom technology tools and educational software.
