Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Special Education Teacher to support young learners in grades 1 and 2, focusing on students with social and emotional needs. The role is based in Camden Wyoming, DE, within an elementary school setting, and is a contract position starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and support to a caseload of 4-5 students with special education needs
• Develop and implement educational plans tailored to students' social, emotional, and academic goals
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and support staff to promote student success
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to enhance learning outcomes
• Maintain compliance with state and district special education policies and guidelines

Qualifications:

• Valid Delaware Special Education or General Education certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in special education
• Strong understanding of social and emotional learning needs and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Job Details:
