Job Overview Location: Alameda, CA Duration: Full-time Equivalent (FTE) Mandatory Skills: Microcontrollers, C Programming, White box testing, Embedded Device testing, RTOS, Device Drivers Desired Skills: Hand Held devices, Medical domain, 21 CFR Part 11, Bluetooth protocol Responsibilities Design and develop software in C language for micro‑controller based Bare Metal (Non‑RTOS) and RTOS environments for a highly safety critical medical hand‑held device. Develop software integration test protocols against design input documents and code for embedded handheld battery‑operated medical devices, and execute them as per the process defined for medical device software development. Perform code‑level regression analysis (in C & C++) with knowledge of custom hardware design to plan for integration testing. Actively participate and provide comments in requirements, design, and code review meetings.
