Want to work on the world's leading smart home lighting system? Join our Philips Hue multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for developing and continuously improving our unique Philips Hue lighting and security system. This role will focus on developing Embedded Software for our Hue secure cameras and Hue Bridge. Platform and Application Development: Collaborate with the embedded team to expand platform and application offerings for our customers. Feature Preparation: Collaborate with team members to design the architecture and infrastructure for features that connect embedded, cloud, and mobile components. Quality Assurance Collaboration: Partner with the QA team to ensure product quality and reliability through rigorous testing and verification. Continuous Improvement: Efficiently identify, diagnose, and resolve software defects to maintain optimal system performance. Global Team Collaboration: Effectively communicate and collaborate with a diverse, global team across multiple time zones. More About You Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline 1+ years of work experience in an embedded software role with a proven track record of delivering high quality products to customers Experience in Python or similar languages Experience in embedded Linux software development Knowledge on API and network communication technologies including MQTT Effective communicator and team player, with a can-do mentality to realize the best Smart Home product experiences *Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship. Salary: $88,102 - 129,217 based on experience Bonus: target bonus opportunity - 5% Benefits Overview: Company subsidized benefits plan offerings that include Medical, Health Savings Account, Dental, 401K retirement plan with company match, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), Paid Time Off, including paid vacation, holidays/personal days, tuition reimbursement and products discounts.
