Job Tittle- Embedded Software Engineer 2 Location - Peoria IL Role Overview (What the team is looking for) Seeking a candidate with embedded systems software verification experience , specifically in the electrification space . Initial project focus: charger / charge interface work supporting electrification and verifying software package deliveries for that system. Broader team scope includes: Charging systems Batteries Microgrid controls Power conversion Other electrification verification activities Core Skill Focus Strong familiarity with embedded software verification Experience working with HIL Additional benefits: SIL Automation to make HIL verification more efficient Experience / Education Targeted for 2-4 years experience (not fresh grads) Engineering degree preferred (Electrical / Computer / similar) Disqualifiers: no degree, no relevant experience Top Technical Skills (as described by manager) HIL SIL Automation HIL Platform Candidate will start working on OPAL-RT dSPACE background is acceptable as transferable experience Automation Expectations Python is helpful but not mandatory Manager emphasized understanding: The concept of automation How to set it up Ability to use tools (could be Python, in-house tools, or other methods) Electrification Experience Electrification experience is desired , not required
