Description:
KID is seeking a motivated Software engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be tasked with testing Large Language Models (LLMs) on embedded chipsets locally versus in the cloud. They will work with a variety of chipsets from leading manufacturers like Nvidia, Qualcomm, and MediaTek. The intern will explore and implement LLMs for music, video, text, and audio applications, contributing to the design of efficient chipset solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Experiment with running LLMs on embedded chipsets for music, video, text, and audio applications.
- Review and assess different chipsets to determine their suitability for running LLMs efficiently.
- Design a chipset configuration optimized for local LLM execution.
- Collaborate with the software development team to implement and test LLMs on selected chipsets.
- Document findings, methodologies, and results for future reference.
Requirements:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Familiarity with embedded systems and chipsets.
- Understanding of machine learning and natural language processing concepts.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or Java.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
