JOB TITLE: Embedded Software Engineer 4 LOCATION: Kent, WA PAY RATE: $97/hour We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client. Job Details Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension) Clearance: Top Secret Clearance (Required to Start) Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision (Cigna) Perks: Bonus potential + Priority access via Tier 1 supplier Openings Nationwide: Thousands of opportunities across the U.S. Qualifying Questions Are you a U.S. person as defined under ITAR regulations? Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role? Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary? Summary Develop and support code generation for highly embedded systems Contribute to an open-architecture software development approach Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to prototype hardware solutions Develop, integrate, and validate code execution on target processors Support hardware bring-up and hardware/software integration activities Work under general supervision in a dynamic development environment Requirements Top Secret Clearance (Required to Start) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. 5+ years of embedded software development experience Strong proficiency in C and/or C++ Experience with Linux and/or PetaLinux development environments Experience with hardware-software integration and target processor validation Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR). Preferred Qualifications Experience with aerospace and/or electrical systems Experience with CMake build systems Familiarity with hardware development and system bring-up Self-starter with the ability to perform in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team Eligibility Requirements Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) to comply with ITAR regulations . #J-18808-Ljbffr
