  • Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and verify corrective actions.

  • Prepare clear test reports for engineering, quality, and regulatory review.
  • Utilize command-line tools, logs, and hardware diagnostic methods to validate system performance.
  • Partner with Software, Hardware, Quality, and Project teams to support successful product development and release.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of embedded software or firmware testing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using command-line tools for testing and debugging.
  • Working knowledge of C++ and/or C#.
  • Experience supporting regulated medical device products.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations and 510(k) submissions.

Team Environment

  • Frequent collaboration with software, hardware, mechanical, and QA engineering teams.
  • Team members are located in the U.S., Canada, India, and Chile, so candidates must be comfortable working across different time zones.
  • Flexibility is required for meetings that may occasionally occur outside normal working hours.
